Application Process

How Groups Are Formed

We form groups at all levels. However, we strive to match students along three dimensions: approximate age, technical proficiency, and social compatibility. All three are important to an optimal chamber music experience. For this reason a suitable group may not be available immediately.

Application Process

Once we receive your application form, we will schedule a brief (1/2 hour) audition. This will include a recently prepared piece as well as some basic duet sight-reading. We will not place a student until we are able to form a well-matched ensemble. Pre-formed or partially formed groups are welcome to apply.
